Technical SEO services that find the problem and ship the fix
Our technical SEO services find what stops search engines from crawling, indexing and ranking your important pages, then fix it. You get a full SEO technical audit, a fix list ranked by revenue impact and, with CMS access, the fixes implemented by our team every month.
Most technical audits end as a spreadsheet nobody owns. As your technical SEO agency, we own the list, and you watch every item move to done in your panel.

What technical SEO covers
Technical SEO is everything between your server and the search result that is not the words on the page or the links pointing at it. In practice we check and fix:
Crawlability
Robots.txt rules, crawl traps from faceted URLs and calendars, infinite parameter combinations, internal links that point to redirects or 404s, orphan pages with no internal link.
Indexation
Stray noindex tags on templates, canonicals pointing to the wrong URL, duplicate pages from trailing slashes, uppercase paths or tracking parameters, soft 404s, pages Google reports as "Crawled, currently not indexed".
Rendering
Content and links that exist only after JavaScript runs, lazy-loaded text that never renders for crawlers, client-side routing that serves an empty shell.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
LCP, INP and CLS from field data, with the template, image or script behind each problem.
Structured data
Organization, Product, Offer, Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList and SoftwareApplication markup that validates and matches the visible page.
Site architecture and internal linking
Click depth of money pages, link equity flowing to the pages that sell, breadcrumbs, pagination, hub pages.
International setup
Hreflang pairs that return each other, correct language and region codes, self-referencing canonicals per locale.
AI search access
Rules for AI crawlers in robots.txt that match your business decision, an llms.txt file, and structured data that answer engines can read.
What an SEO technical audit looks like with us
Our SEO technical audit is not a raw crawler export. We join the crawl with Search Console and GA4 data and remove the noise: a missing alt attribute on a decorative icon is not why your category pages fail to rank. The audit lists the issues that cost traffic or revenue, grouped by template, because one template fix often repairs hundreds of URLs.
Why technical problems cost revenue first
Content and links only work on pages that are crawled, indexed and fast enough to keep the visitor. A technical problem on a template does not hurt one page. It hurts every product, every location page or every integration page built on it.
Lost pages
A noindex shipped with a release can remove your pricing or category pages from the index overnight. We check money pages for this every month.
Wasted crawl budget
On large stores, filter combinations create millions of URLs, and new products wait weeks to be indexed.
Lower conversion
Slow pages and layout shifts lose visitors who already found you, so speed work also lifts sales from the same traffic.
Examples of fixes we ship
Illustrative examples of typical work, not client results:
- A Shopify collection template canonicalizes every filtered URL to the unfiltered collection while internal links point to filtered versions. We align the links and block crawl paths for low-value filters.
- A SaaS marketing site built as a single-page app returns empty HTML for integration pages. We document server-side rendering requirements for your developers and verify the rendered output after release.
- Product pages carry Product markup with a price that no longer matches the page. We fix the data source so markup and visible price stay in sync.

How our technical SEO work runs
- 1
Access in the panel
You connect Google Search Console and GA4 with read-only OAuth. If you want fixes implemented, you add a CMS user with an editor-level role, following our least-privilege checklist. Credentials are encrypted and never sent by email.
- 2
Full crawl and data join
We crawl every covered site, render JavaScript where needed and join the crawl with indexation, performance and conversion data.
- 3
Triage by template and impact
Issues are grouped by the template or system that causes them, then ranked by the revenue of the affected pages and the effort to fix.
- 4
Monthly fix list
The top items for the month appear on the deliverables board with URL, issue, fix and owner, either our team or your developers.
- 5
Implementation
With CMS access we implement fixes within your plan's monthly count. Changes that need code go to your developers as written tickets with acceptance criteria.
- 6
Verification
We re-crawl after each change, request indexing for key URLs in Search Console, and mark the item done only when the fix is live and verified.
- 7
Monitoring
Re-crawls are unlimited. A new noindex or robots.txt change on a money page shows up in your panel with a priority.
Deliverables and where you see them
| Deliverable | What you see in the panel | Cadence |
|---|---|---|
| SEO technical audit | Issues grouped by template, with affected URLs, impact and recommended fix | At kickoff, refreshed quarterly |
| Monthly fix list | Ranked items for the month, each with URL, owner and status | Monthly |
| Implemented fixes | Each change with the URL, what changed and the verification crawl | Up to your plan's monthly count |
| Developer tickets | Written specs with acceptance criteria for code-level changes | As needed |
| Core Web Vitals review | Field data by template, the cause and the proposed fix | Monthly |
| AI crawler rules and llms.txt | Current robots.txt rules for AI crawlers, the llms.txt file and its status | At kickoff, reviewed quarterly |
| Release review (Enterprise) | Pre-release check of staging for redirects, canonicals, noindex and hreflang | Per release |
What you need to provide
- Read-only Search Console and GA4 access through OAuth in the panel.
- A CMS user with the lowest role that can make the changes, usually an editor role, not admin.
- A developer contact for changes that need code, server configuration or a deploy.
- Staging access for release reviews on Enterprise, and notice of upcoming migrations.
What we do not do
- We do not hand you a 200-page PDF and leave. The audit becomes a ranked list that we work through every month.
- We do not deploy code to your servers or touch your hosting configuration. Code-level changes go to your developers as tickets, and we verify them after release.
- We do not ask for admin access when an editor role is enough. You revoke any access in one click.
Technical work is one part of the plan. It runs alongside your SEO strategy services, your SEO content services and, for stores, our e-commerce SEO program. If you want a one-time view first, see what the SEO audit covers.
FAQ
Do you implement the fixes or only recommend them?
Both. With CMS access, our team implements fixes up to your plan's monthly count, from 10 on Small to 100 on Enterprise. Changes that need code, server rules or a deploy go to your developers as written tickets, and we verify them with a re-crawl after release.
What access do you need, and is it safe?
Search Console and GA4 connect through read-only OAuth, so we can read data but cannot change your settings. For the CMS we ask for the lowest role that can make the change, usually editor. Credentials are encrypted and never stored in plain text or sent by email. You revoke access in one click.
Can you handle a site migration?
Migration support and release reviews are part of Enterprise. We map old to new URLs, check redirects, canonicals, hreflang and noindex on staging before launch, and monitor indexation after. On other plans we audit the new site after launch and fix what we find within the monthly scope.
Should we block AI crawlers?
It is a business decision, and we lay out the trade-off. Blocking AI crawlers can also remove you from citations in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers. We set the robots.txt rules you choose and keep them consistent with your llms.txt file.
How is your technical SEO audit different from a crawler tool?
A crawler tool reports everything. Our audit joins the crawl with Search Console and GA4, drops warnings that do not affect search, groups issues by template and ranks them by the revenue of the pages affected. Then we fix them.
