SEO report sample, section by section
This SEO report sample shows what your monthly SEO report contains and how to read it. Every client gets one report per month in the panel: organic revenue and leads, Search Console clicks, keyword movement, AI search visibility, the work we shipped with URLs, and next month's priorities.
The first report arrives after your first full month. Your strategist writes the summary and the priorities by hand. The numbers come straight from your connected Google Search Console and GA4.

Executive summary from your strategist
The report opens with a short summary written by your strategist, not a template. It says in plain words what moved, why we think it moved, and what it means for revenue. If something went down, the summary says so first and explains the cause and the response.
Organic revenue and leads from GA4
With GA4 connected, the report shows revenue and leads that came from organic search, using the conversion events you defined in your brief. For a store that is purchases and revenue. For SaaS it is trials, signups and sales inquiries. For lead generation it is form submissions and calls you track. We show the trend over time, not only one month, because a single month can be noisy.
Non-brand clicks and impressions from Search Console
We split clicks and impressions into brand and non-brand. Brand searches mostly reflect demand you already created. Non-brand searches are new people finding you through the topics we work on, so this is the cleaner measure of SEO progress. You also see the top landing pages and the queries that grew or dropped most.
Priority keyword movement in bands
Your priority keywords are the set agreed at kickoff (25 on Small, 100 on Growth, 300 on Scale, 600 on Enterprise). Instead of a long table of daily positions, the report shows the distribution across bands: positions 1 to 3, 4 to 10, 11 to 20, 21 to 50 and not ranking. A keyword moving from 18 to 9 matters more than one moving from 4 to 3, and the band view makes that visible. The full list with trends stays in Rankings in the panel.
AI search visibility, on Growth and above
On Growth, Scale and Enterprise, we check whether AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity cite your site for your priority topics. The report shows how many checks returned a citation, which pages were cited and which competitors were cited instead. This section is part of our AI search optimization work and is not included on Small.
Deliverables shipped this month
Every item we delivered appears with its URL and status: new pages and articles, content refreshes, editorial links (with source URL, target URL and anchor) and implemented technical fixes. You can check each one yourself. If an item is waiting for your approval or access, the report says so. See how link building and technical SEO fit into the monthly scope.
Technical health
A summary of the latest crawl: health score, new issues found, issues fixed, pages indexed versus submitted, and Core Web Vitals for key templates. Critical issues are listed first with the fix and who owns it.
What we learned
A few short findings from the month: a page type that converts better than expected, a competitor that published a strong guide, a query cluster where intent differs from what we assumed. This is where the strategy adjusts.
Next month's priorities
The scheduled scope for the coming month, taken from the quarterly roadmap and adjusted to what we learned. You see which pages, refreshes, links and fixes are scheduled and why they come first.
Decisions needed from you
A short list of items that need your input: content to approve, access to grant, a product question, a choice between two directions. Each one links to the place in the panel where you can answer it.
How to read the report in months 1 to 3
In the first months, revenue usually lags behind the work. That is normal. Look first at the leading indicators: technical issues fixed, pages indexed, impressions growing for target topics, keywords entering positions 11 to 20 and then 4 to 10, and the first AI citations. These show the work is landing before clicks and leads catch up. Common in the market: meaningful traffic and lead growth often shows within 3 to 6 months, depending on competition and the starting point. We do not promise rankings. We commit to the scope that ships each month and report it openly.
Export and access for your team
Every report can be downloaded as a PDF from Reports in the panel, so you can share it with leadership or investors. Everyone with a team seat in your workspace can open reports (2 seats on Small, 5 on Growth, 10 on Scale, 25 on Enterprise). Learn more about how it works.
FAQ
When do I get my first monthly SEO report?
After your first full month. Before that, you receive the kickoff roadmap within 5 business days of completing the brief and access handover, and you can follow every deliverable on the panel board as it ships.
Where do the numbers in the report come from?
Revenue and leads come from your GA4, clicks and impressions from your Google Search Console, connected with read-only access. Keyword positions and AI citations come from our own tracking for your priority keywords and topics.
What if GA4 is not connected?
The report still covers Search Console data, keyword movement, AI visibility on Growth and above, deliverables and technical health. Revenue and leads appear once GA4 is connected and conversion events are set up, which your strategist can guide you through.
Can I download the report as a PDF?
Yes. Every monthly report has a PDF download in Reports, and the panel keeps all past reports so you can compare months.
Who on my team can see the reports?
Everyone with a seat in your workspace. The workspace owner invites team members and assigns roles, such as marketing, developer or viewer.
Is the sample above real client data?
No. It is an illustrative sample for a fictional site with invented figures. It shows the layout and sections, not results.
